Camille Walker Banks is a respected senior advisor to small and large businesses with a successful career in economic development across multiple sectors, including corporate/Fortune 500, nonprofit, government and higher education. Under Camille's leadership, Michigan companies participating in the Goldman Sachs10,000 Small Businesses program have outpaced the US small businesses' and 10,000 Small Businesses' national averages in increasing revenues and job creation. Prior to joining 10KSB, Camille served as a Business Development Manager for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and as Economic Development Facilitator/Community Development Supervisor for the City of Madison Heights. In these roles, Camille implemented key state and local initiatives around economic development and community revitalization resulting in over $5.5B in new capital investment and more than 5,000 new jobs created in underserved communities during the economic downturn.
